- Paediatric Neurology, Paediatric Epilepsy, and Complex Epilepsy Developmental Disorders are Dr. Pradnya Gadgil areas of expertise.
- She has worked as a National Coordinator for the British Paediatric Neurology Association's Paediatric Epilepsy Training (PET) program.
- Dr. Pradnya Gadgil received her paediatric neurology training at Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital in London and PD J Hinduja Hospital in Mumbai.
- Dr. Pradnya Gadgil visits CNEC, Vadodara every 3 months to review patients with drug refractory epilepsy. Dr. Sarbani Raha and Dr. Pradnya Gadgil conduct an epilepsy clinic to decide further course of treatment in children with poorly controlled epilepsy. Some of these children are recommended to undergo pre - epilepsy surgery work up.
- Epilepsy surgery can be offered in children with poorly controlled or drug refractory epilepsy. This surgery can be curative or palliative. Dr. Pradnya Gadgil along with her team at SRCC conduct these complex epilepsy surgeries to provide life long cure from epilepsy.
